Job summary

Day' Rental is seeking a skilled vehicle maintenance technician to service our expanding regional network across the UK. You will perform maintenance at a base workshop and on mobile assignments, ensuring timely responses to breakdowns and efficient fault diagnosis.

The role requires NVQ 3 / City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance, a clean driving licence (D1 an advantage), and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. You must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 standard or City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Clean driving licence, ideally with D1 entitlement.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance from a base repair workshop and mobile solution across an expanding regional branch network.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults.
• Repair vehicles and equipment.
• Report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work as part of a valued team.
