Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Derby. The role offers independence, carrying out on-site servicing and diagnostics directly from your home with a flexible schedule and strong earning potential.

You will benefit from a fully equipped company van, a competitive base salary up to £35,000, and OTE exceeding £44,000, plus 33 days holiday, pension and life assurance. Training including EV/hybrid certifications is included.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven mobile or workshop vehicle technician experience.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Able to manage multiple jobs independently on the road.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairs and diagnostics on-site at customer locations.
• Operate a fully equipped service van, starting and finishing from home.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Accurately complete job cards and detailed documentation.
• Utilise diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Manage daily workload independently to complete jobs on time.
