Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking a Vehicle Progressor / Coordinator for a motor garage in Weybridge, Surrey. The role covers vehicle preparation, progress tracking, and delivery handover, with weekday hours 8am–6pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am–1pm (overtime).

You will interact with customers, Sales Executives, and workshop staff to ensure timely completion and accurate paperwork for each vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Progressor or similar role in a motor garage.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and professionalism.
• Ability to liaise with workshop and sales teams to track delivery progression.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage vehicle progression and delivery scheduling.
• Communicate clearly with customers and staff about progress and handover.
• Keep records and paperwork up to date for each vehicle.
• Coordinate with workshop for authorisation of remedial work.
• Lodge and track special requests (plates, registrations).
• Manage the vehicle valeting diary and delivery paperwork.

Vehicle Progressor / Coordinator required by my Motor Garage Dealership based in the Weybridge area of Surrey.

Job Role – Vehicle Progressor / Coordinator

Job Location – Weybridge, Surrey

Salary – £ 23,460k

Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm

1 in 3 Saturdays 8am to 1pm (paid as overtime)

Vehicle Progressor Role:

• Vehicle preparation and collection
• Treating customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Communicating effectively about vehicle progression and achievement of agreed delivery schedules
• Keeping Sales Executives informed of delivery changes
• Liaising with the workshop during preparation of vehicles to gain authorisation for remedial work and rectifying any outstanding issues
• Timely and accurate document preparation
• Checking vehicles on delivery to the site for all paperwork, keys, book packs and navigation discs
• Inspecting and approving the vehicle prior to hand over to the Sales Executive, highlighting any issues immediately for rectification prior to delivery of vehicle to customer
• Liaising with sales administration in order to progress any special requests for cherished plate transfers or specific registration numbers
• Daily management of the valeting diary

Previous experience as a Vehicle Progressor, Coordinator, Car Park Host, Forecourt Attendant within a Motor Garage
