Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Van Technician / LCV Mechanic to service fleets, perform PMIs, diagnose faults, and carry out mechanical repairs on modern commercial vehicles. Base is Crayford with a 45-hour week and two shift options.

We offer progression toward HGV/heavy commercial work, NVQ Level 3 or time-served candidates, and a package including 28 days holiday, pension, and EV/Hybrid training. Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or time-served equivalent) with solid experience on vans/LCVs.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills on light commercial fleets.
• Keen interest in upskilling into HGV/heavy commercial work long term.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and PMIs on vans/LCVs.
• Diagnostic fault-finding and mechanical repairs on modern fleets.

• Salary: £47,876 basic (£20.46/hr) + Overtime at x1.5 rate (£30.69/hr) – £60,000 OTE
• Hours: 45 hrs/wk (Choice of Early: 06:00–15:30 OR Late: 13:30–22:00 inc. Saturday)
