Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician (Vans) in Dartford to join a leading UK vehicle hire and fleet management business. You will service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles across a busy, nationwide network.

The role offers Monday to Friday hours with optional overtime, structured working patterns, and opportunities for long-term career progression within a large national organisation. A modern workshop and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles (highly desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
