Commercial Vehicle Technician – Hatfield

Basic Salary - £39,780

OTE - £50,000

Our client, a busy Franchised Truck & Van Depot in Hatfield, is seeking experienced Commercial Vehicle Technicians / Van Technicians / HGV Technicians to join their established workshop team. Various shift patterns are available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure servicing & repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards
• Cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements
• In-depth electrical & mechanical diagnostics
• Warranty repairs

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance or equivalent
• 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Van / HGV / Commercial vehicle experience
• Manufacturer or IMI accreditations/qualifications
• Franchised dealer experience
• MOT licence (Class 4 & 7)
• Class 2 driving licence

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic salary of £30,420 - £39,780 DOE
• On target earnings of £40,000 - £50,000
• Paid overtime at 1.5x (time and a half)
• Shift allowance for late & night shifts
• Manufacturer training
• Great benefits package

Working Hours

• Days, lates & night shifts available; please call for details
• 45-hour workweek
• Saturdays optional
