Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Van Driver Towing to support our fleet and customer sites across the region. You will operate vans up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments, ensuring safe loading, secure transport, and timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates will hold a category B licence (max 6 points), have LCV experience, and be safety-minded. IT systems knowledge and local geography awareness are desirable; a polite, professional approach is essential when visiting customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (category B) with up to 6 points.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite and courteous manner when visiting customer premises.
• LCV (light commercial vehicle) experience.
• Geographical knowledge is desirable.
• IT systems familiarity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate light vans up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle safety/roadworthiness before journeys and secure loading/unloading of loads.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal/external customers.
• Adhere to legal and company safety requirements and working time directives.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented Van Driver Towing to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
