Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Oldham is seeking an Attachments Technician with full training provided to join our rapidly developing plant division. You will inspect equipment in workshop and on site, service and repair key plant assets, and perform minor structural repairs while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods, maintain cleanliness and compliance, and contribute to a proactive maintenance culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold category C1 driving license with ≤6 points.
• CPC certification required.
• Tachograph card required.
• Experience with basic inspections, fault finding and repairs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant equipment in workshop and on site.
• Service, repair and maintain key plant equipment in workshop and on site.
• Perform minor structural repairs including abrasive wheels and welding.
• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for transportation of goods to customer locations.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to high standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance.

About The Role

Attachments Technician - Full Training Provided

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing plant division? We are looking for a Attachments Technician to join our team to ensure our plant equipment is maintained to the highest standard whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Inspect of plant equipment in workshop and on site
• Service, repair and maintenance of key plant equipment in workshop and on site
• Minor structural repairs including use of abrasive wheels and welding equipment
• Operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods to customer locations
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of category C1 driving license – with no more than 6 points
• CPC Certified
• Tachograph card
• Team player, supporting your colleagues
• Self-motivated and a flexible approach to the working environment
• Experience of basic inspections, fault finding, and repairs is desirable, however full training is available
