Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Van Driver Towing to support our fleet and customer sites across the region. You will operate vans up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments, ensuring safe loading, secure transport, and timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates will hold a category B licence (max 6 points), have LCV experience, and be safety-minded. IT systems knowledge and local geography awareness are desirable; a polite, professional approach is essential when visiting customers.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence (category B) with up to 6 points.
Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
Polite and courteous manner when visiting customer premises.
LCV (light commercial vehicle) experience.
Geographical knowledge is desirable.
IT systems familiarity is desirable.

Responsibilities

Operate light vans up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods.
Ensure vehicle safety/roadworthiness before journeys and secure loading/unloading of loads.
Visit customer locations and communicate with internal/external customers.
Adhere to legal and company safety requirements and working time directives.
