Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a technician to operate light commercial vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes) with towing attachments, install and uninstall on customer sites, and perform routine equipment maintenance. Real training is provided for towing and equipment handling.

You will visit customer locations and depots, ensure roadworthiness and loading safety, and follow legal and safety requirements. Excellent development opportunities and benefits accompany this role.

Responsibilities

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes with towing attachments for transportation of goods
• Perform installation and uninstallation of technical equipment on customer sites
• Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning and preparation of equipment, while also at times supporting with general operations of the business
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations and our depot locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
