Job summary

Pertemps is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our busy Dunstable operation on a Monday–Friday pattern. You will drive a company van to deliver and collect equipment, load/unload, and provide a friendly, professional service to customers.

You’ll perform basic vehicle checks, handle some manual handling, and work overtime when required to maximise earnings on a long-term, full-time basis with a trusted employer.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience driving a van or delivering goods preferred.
• Towing experience would be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of local and wider road networks.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join an established and busy operation based in Dunstable. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Van Driver looking for a stable Monday to Friday position, with the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role

• Driving a company van to deliver and collect equipment from customers
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Ensuring all equipment is handled carefully and securely
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks
• Some manual handling will be required
• Working additional hours when required, with overtime available

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred
• Previous towing experience would be highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of local and wider road networks
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with manual handling and working to deadlines
