Job summary

Osborne Appointments is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join a busy team in Shefford, Bedfordshire. You will operate a 3.5T vehicle, load and unload with a Driver's Mate, and ensure safe, timely delivery and collection of event furniture and equipment to multiple sites.

Flexibility is essential due to the events industry, with early starts, late finishes and weekend work. A full UK driving licence is required and good customer service skills are important.

Van Driver (3.5T)

Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire

Hours: Flexible Hours | Weekend Availability Required

Pay Rate: £13.50 an hour, weekly pay

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Van Driver to join a well established company based in Shefford, within the Events Industry.

This is a varied role supporting the delivery and collection of event equipment across multiple locations. You'll be working as part of a two-person team alongside a Driver's Mate, ensuring all items are delivered safely, professionally and on time.

Please note - this is not a fixed-shift role and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events industry, including early starts, later finishes and weekend working.

Duties of a Van Driver

• Driving a 3.5T vehicle to event locations
• Loading and unloading event equipment in teams of two
• Delivering and collecting chairs, tables and event hire products
• Ensuring safe handling and transport of equipment
• Providing excellent customer service onsite
