Job summary

Driver Hire Northampton Ltd is seeking a reliable Van Driver in Northamptonshire for temporary assignments across Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton and Daventry. You will deliver customer orders safely, load and unload vehicles, and keep delivery records up to date.

A valid UK Category B licence is required, along with at least 12 months van driving and multi‑drop experience in a 3.5T van. Strong punctuality and customer service are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.

• Your own transport to travel to and from the depot location.

Van Driver

Location: Northamptonshire
Areas Covered: Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton & Daventry
Salary: £12.71 - £14.25 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, various start times from 7:00am onwards
Minimum Shift Length: 8 hours

Van Driver Opportunity

We are currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers for a number of temporary assignments across Northamptonshire, including Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton and Daventry.

As a Van Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered safely, efficiently and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders professionally and within scheduled timeframes
• Load and unload vehicles safely and securely
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules
• Carry out manual handling duties as required
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers

What You'll Be Delivering

• A variety of products to business customers
• Typically 15 to 20 drops per day
• Deliveries across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas

Pay Rates

• £12.71 per hour PAYE
• £14.25 per hour PAYE Advanced (including holiday pay)

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
