Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow is seeking an experienced Van Driver for a busy operation in Dunstable. The role offers a stable Monday to Friday pattern with overtime opportunities and a company vehicle. You will drive, deliver and collect equipment, load/unload, and ensure secure handling while maintaining a professional customer focus.

The position starts early (05:30) and provides a long-term, full-time opportunity within an established business, with potential for overtime and career progression.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Previous towing experience would be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of local and wider road networks.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company van to deliver and collect equipment from customers.

The Role

• Driving a company van to deliver and collect equipment from customers
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Ensuring all equipment is handled carefully and securely
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks
• Some manual handling will be required
• Working additional hours when required, with overtime available
