Job summary

Grant Thornton UK Value Creation Advisory (VCA) Associate Director role involves leading day-to-day client work, executing strategic reviews and integration initiatives to maximise value across transactions. You’ll partner with Directors to win, manage and deliver high-quality client outcomes, while mentoring junior colleagues and shaping a thriving VCA practice.

The role requires strong communication, finance acumen, and the ability to travel UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Significant experience across carve-outs, integrations and value creation with advisory context.
• Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
• High attention to detail in written reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes, including client meetings and deliverables.
• Interpret and analyse large volumes of information to identify core issues.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and lead by example.
• Prepare sales proposals, pitches and support wider sales efforts with Directors and Partners.
• Support junior colleagues' development; may supervise more junior staff.
• Assist Directors and Partners with day-to-day running of the VCA practice.
