Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Associate Director for the Value Creation Advisory (VCA) team. You will lead day-to-day client work on diverse projects, guide analyses, and shape operating models to maximise transaction value.

You’ll collaborate across UK and international teams and mentor junior colleagues, while supporting Directors and Partners in ongoing practice initiatives. The role requires significant advisory experience, strong leadership and excellent communication, with travel across

Qualifications

• Significant advisory/professional services experience across carve-outs, integrations and value creation work.
• Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
• Outstanding written reports, Excel analyses and presentations with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes and manage client meetings and deliverables.
• Interpret and analyse large volumes of complex information to identify key issues.
• Collaborate with Grant Thornton teams UK and internationally to assemble multi-disciplinary client teams.
• Prepare sales proposals, pitches and support wider sales efforts.
• Support junior colleagues and potentially supervise a team.
• Assist Directors and Partners in running the VCA practice and leading internal initiatives.
