Job summary

Grant Thornton UK seeks a proactive Value Creation Advisory Associate Director to lead multi-size client projects within our VCA team. You will drive analyses, due diligence, and operating-model initiatives to maximise deal value, working with UK and international clients.

You will mentor junior staff, shape client proposals, and collaborate with Directors and Partners to deliver high-impact outcomes across carve-outs, integrations, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience across carve-outs, integrations and value creation work.
• Experience leading small teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports, Excel analyses and presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication tailored to stakeholders.
• PM/change management and transformation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes, including client meetings and risk management.
• Interpret and analyse large volumes of information to identify key issues.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and mentor junior colleagues.
• Prepare sales proposals, pitches, and support wider sales efforts with Directors and Partners.
• Support the wider team and provide delegation and guidance to junior colleagues.
• Assist the Directors and Partners with day-to-day running of the VCA practice.
