Job summary

Big Motoring World in Cannock is seeking a hands-on Valet Manager to oversee the valeting team, ensuring vehicles are cleaned, prepared and presented to a high standard before customer delivery.

You will lead, plan workloads, and maintain quality while meeting daily targets in a busy dealership environment. A UK driving licence is required, and you will work closely with workshop and prep teams to optimise throughput.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the valeting team, allocating workloads and monitoring productivity.
• Ensure vehicles are valeted to company standards and completed within agreed timescales.
• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure vehicles meet presentation standards.
• Provide training, guidance and support to team members.
• Address performance, attendance and timekeeping issues as required.
• Plan and prioritise workloads to maintain an efficient flow of vehicles.
• Work closely with workshop and preparation teams to support daily operations.
• Monitor team performance against daily targets and expectations.
• Communicate daily priorities, targets and vehicle progress to the team and management.
• Report any delays, issues, hazards or equipment faults to management.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and equipment and chemicals are used correctly.
