Job summary

Big Motoring World is seeking a Valet Manager to lead the valeting team and ensure vehicles are prepared to a high standard before delivery. You will supervise workloads, maintain quality, and meet customer deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves training and guiding team members, addressing performance and attendance, and coordinating with workshop and preparation teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a valeting or vehicle preparation environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality.
• Able to organise workloads and manage competing priorities.
• Confident communicating with team and management.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (DVLA checks may apply).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the valeting team, allocating workloads and monitoring productivity.
• Ensure vehicles are valeted to company standards and completed within timescales.
• Carry out regular quality checks to meet presentation standards.
• Provide training, guidance and support to team members.
• Address performance, attendance and timekeeping issues.
• Plan and prioritise workloads to maintain an efficient flow of vehicles.
• Work with workshop and preparation teams to support daily operations.
• Monitor performance against daily targets and expectations.
• Communicate daily priorities, targets and vehicle progress to team and management.
• Report delays, issues, hazards or equipment faults to management.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
