Job summary

JDR Recruitment Ltd in Warrington is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will handle inbound enquiries by phone and other channels, resolve issues and take ownership of queries while delivering professional service.

Experience in utilities is preferred; you will need strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a flexible approach to shifts from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a contact centre.
• Experience in utilities (water, gas, electricity or broadband) preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to think independently and handle difficult conversations.
• Attention to detail and accurate administration.
• Able to work shifts between 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries by phone and other communication channels.
• Resolve customer queries professionally and promptly.
• Investigate issues and take ownership through to resolution.
• Explain products, services, billing and account information clearly.
• Update customer records with accurate information.
• Maintain composure in challenging conversations and meet targets.
