Job summary

Church International is recruiting a User Researcher for a UK public sector client to join the central UCD team. You will design and run user research, select methods, recruit participants and deliver actionable insights to fund product teams.

Based in options Birmingham, Belfast, Edinburgh, Exeter, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Nottingham, the role offers a competitive £35k-£40k salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and conducting user research across generative and evaluative methods (e.g., usability testing).
• Ability to plan, recruit participants, moderate sessions, and analyse findings to produce actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out user research activities from recruiting participants, preparing discussion guides, and moderating sessions.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to plan and execute ongoing user research.
• Lead colleagues to analyse data and synthesise findings, creating a rich picture of user behaviour.
• Present and communicate research insights to help teams understand user needs and inform product decisions.
