CCA Recruitment Group is recruiting a Used Car Sales Manager for a premium South Wales dealership. You will own the approved used operation, lead a developing team, and drive profitability and stock turn across the department.

The role offers £35k-£40k basic (DOE), £70k OTE, a premium company car, and 33 days holiday with private medical and pension options. You will report to the Head of Business on a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager, Sales Manager or Sales Controller in motor retail.
• Strong leadership. You set clear expectations and get the best out of people.
• A solid grip on the full used car cycle: enquiries, buying, trade disposal, prep and selling.
• The ability to drive units and F&I together.
• High standards, fresh ideas and the energy to lift a team.
• Premium or prestige brand experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Owning the profitability of the approved used department, from units and margin to F&I.
• Leading and coaching six sales executives, supported by two business managers.
• Running weekly sales meetings and a tight enquiry management process.
• Managing stock acquisition, trade disposal and prep so cars are on sale fast.
• Building stock to around 90 prepped cars and driving a 9 to 10 times stock turn.
• Keeping customer metrics and retention strong.

Ready to run your own used car department and build a team your way?

A premium dealership in South Wales, part of one of the UK's leading prestige motor groups, needs a Used Car Sales Manager totake full ownership of its approved used operation.

The department already delivers around 60 cars a month and the target is 70. The sales team is largely new, keen and has no bad habits, so you'll have the freedom to shape it. You'll report to a Head of Business who's hands on and wants someone to grow with the site, not just fill a seat.

THE PACKAGE

• £35,000 to £40,000+ basic, depending on experience
• £70,000 OTE, plus annual stretch bonuses
• Premium company car up to around £80k to £85k on a low BIK scheme
• Same day off every week, plus every other weekend fully off
• 33 days holiday including bank holidays
