Job summary

Griffin Mill Garages in Pontypridd is seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead a busy sales team, maximise profitability from vehicle sales and finance packages, and deliver a five-star customer experience.

You will drive performance through coaching, stock management, and rigorous CRM activity, ensuring strong showroom presentation and regulatory compliance in line with FCA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Used Car Sales Manager, Transaction Manager, or Sales Controller within a motor dealership.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of hitting volume and gross targets.
• In-depth knowledge of F&I processes and FCA compliance rules.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to hit and exceed monthly unit and gross profit targets.
• Oversee used vehicle stock levels, pricing, valuations, part-exchanges, vehicle preparation, and ageing control.
• Structure vehicle finance and insurance packages in compliance with FCA rules.
• Maximise enquiry conversions through active CRM management and pipeline reviews.
• Maintain high showroom and forecourt presentation standards.

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Used Car Sales Manager to join a busy, franchise-approved automotive dealership in Pontypridd. You will lead a dedicated team of sales executives, drive profitability across vehicle sales and finance packages, and ensure a five-star customer experience

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to hit and exceed monthly unit and gross profit targets
• Stock & Forecourt Management: Oversee used vehicle stock levels, pricing, valuations, part-exchanges, vehicle preparation, and ageing control
• Finance & Insurance (F&I): Structure vehicle finance, insurance, and add-on product packages in strict compliance with FCA and Consumer Duty regulations.
• Process & CRM Control: Maximise enquiry conversions through active CRM management, data analysis, and daily/weekly pipeline reviews
• Customer Care: Handle customer queries and maintain high showroom and forecourt presentation standards at all times
