Job summary

Edge Recruits is assisting an Exeter-based client to recruit a Used Car Sales Manager. The successful candidate will lead the used car sales operation, drive performance and profitability, and foster a high-performing sales culture.

You will oversee a team of Sales Executives and Business Managers, ensure compliant selling practices, and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the buying journey. A strong track record in automotive sales and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Used Car Sales Manager or Automotive Sales Manager.
• Proven track record of increasing sales and profitability.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience within a franchised dealership environment is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock presentation, pricing, vehicle turnaround, and profitability.
• Conduct first and second-face customer interactions where required.
