Job summary

Local Care Direct in Leeds area is recruiting part-time Receptionists to support urgent treatment centres. You will be the first touchpoint for patients, creating a welcoming, calm and professional environment while working closely with clinicians.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling queries by phone and in person, keeping reception and waiting areas safe and organised, and liaising with the Local Care Direct team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and dealing with them in a professional, efficient and sensitive manner, enhancing their overall experience of the centre.
• Managing patient queries face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Ensuring reception and waiting areas are safe, organised and welcoming.
• Liaising closely with other Local Care Direct team members, including clinicians, health professionals and operational staff.
• Communicating effectively with external stakeholders where required.
• Supporting clinical and operational processes to enable the delivery of high-quality patient care.
