Local Care Direct is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to be the first point of contact at a Leeds Urgent Treatment Centre. You will create a welcoming, calm, and professional environment, supporting patients and coordinating with clinicians to ensure smooth operations.
The role involves managing the front desk, handling enquiries, and helping deliver high-quality patient care across varied shifts. A patient‑facing, team‑oriented approach is essential.
We are currently recruiting Part‑Time Receptionists to work within one of our Urgent Treatment Centres in the Leeds area, playing a key role in supporting patients and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre.
This is a varied and people‑focused role where you will be at the heart of the patient experience. As the first point of contact for patients, you will help create a welcoming, calm and professional environment while working closely with clinicians and operational colleagues as part of a wider team.
You will be entrusted with significant responsibility, ensuring reception and waiting areas run smoothly and supporting the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate patient care.

Please note: our rota operates on a 4‑week rolling basis.
As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the reception and waiting areas, ensuring patients are supported from the moment they arrive.

Previous experience in a healthcare or customer‑facing role is desirable, but not essential.
