Job summary

St John Ambulance Cymru is seeking an Urgent Care & Falls Assistant to deliver high-quality care to patients in the community under direction from WAST or other clients. You will assess patients at scene, provide emergency treatment within scope, and assist with transportation for high-dependency and non-emergency patients.

The role involves 365-day coverage, day and night shifts, and a 6-week rotation, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years' driving experience and a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in caring/Urgent Care settings is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team or alone, follow procedures, and think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care at the scene.
• Transport for high‑dependency and non-emergency patients.
• Attend falls response or welfare calls in a timely manner.
• Work 12‑hour shifts, including day and night, as required.
