Job summary

HealthHero is seeking an Urgent Care Assistant to support Integrated Urgent Care services across Wiltshire, Swindon and Bath and North East Somerset. The role combines driving, reception duties, and base support on a 6‑month fixed term contract, with varied shifts including evenings, weekends and some overnights.

You will be the first point of contact in Treatment Centres, assist clinicians, manage stock and medications, and help ensure a safe, clean environment across multiple bases.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and carers.
• Calm, compassionate and professional under pressure.
• Ability to work in a flexible, shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinicians to patient homes and perform basic vehicle checks.
• Be the first point of contact at treatment centres and support clinicians.
• Maintain stock and medication records across shifts.
• Replenish car stock and manage inventory with expiry awareness.
