Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an urgent care clerical worker to provide comprehensive support to health professionals in busy reception areas and urgent care departments. You will input and retrieve patient data, maintain PAS records, and locate clinical notes while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
This role requires a polite, professional manner, good IT skills, and flexibility for shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and nights.
The post holder will work as a member of the Urgent Care Clerical team providing comprehensive support to health professionals within the Urgent Care Departments and being the first point of contact on our busy reception areas. You will be responsible for a range of clerical duties outlined in the Job description. As you are the first face that the visitors will see on arrival you must have a polite and courteous disposition. A professional and presentable manner is required. Sound IT and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow instruction and a willingness to learn. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative is a must, accurate data input and attention to detail are essential. You should be reliable, punctual and flexible, as full shifts are worked including weekends, evenings, bank holidays and night shifts. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the service demand.
