Job summary

Faversham Medical Practice is seeking an Urgent Treatment Centre Clinical and Operations Manager to lead a friendly UTC team. The role focuses on safe clinical care, governance, and service development across the UTC and practice.

The post involves managing staff, coordinating audits, and working with GPs and the management team to deliver key priorities. Independent prescribing is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills for urgent care management.
• Experience in leadership and management of UTC teams.
• Knowledge of quality improvement, audits and PGD processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and managerial leadership to UTC practitioners and staff.
• Lead on audits, prescribing and PGD processes.
• Oversee safety, infection control, and incident reviews.
• Manage UCP rota, staffing, appraisals and HR processes.
• Represent the UTC in clinical and network meetings.
