Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Practitioner to provide unscheduled care at the stand-alone UTC on Chase Farm site. The postholder will assess, diagnose and treat or transfer patients as required, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical care and patient experience.

The role emphasises a primary care approach with limited diagnostics and referral back to the patient’s own GP wherever possible.

Job description

The remit of the UTC is to provide unscheduled care for those patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses, however there are occasionally patients who self-present with acute or life-threatening conditions, which the postholder will be required to assess, redirect, and refer on as required.

The postholder will be an experienced independent practitioner who is able to provide clinical support and expertise to ensure that patients attending UTC receive the best possible outcome.
