Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust invites applications for a General Practitioner to join the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) team embedded with the Emergency Departments at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. The UTC operates 24/7, delivering around 2000 appointments weekly across sites, with a mix of minor injuries and urgent illnesses managed by GP, nurses and physiotherapists.

Candidates should be GMC-registered GPs with MRCGP or equivalent, able to interpret chest radiographs and ECGs, and

Competenze

• MBBS or equivalent qualification and GMC GP Registration are essential.
• MRCGP is desirable.
• Competent interpretation of CXR and ECG is desirable.

Mansioni

• Provide a high standard of care for patients with clinical responsibility.
• Participate in clinical governance and service developments.
• Work with ED colleagues to manage minor presentations and urgent investigations.
• Lead and participate in audits and supervision of junior medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with GMC Good Medical Practice and risk management.
