Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a motivated salaried General Practitioner with an interest in Urgent Care to join our UTC network across Cumbria. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver urgent but non-life-threatening care, support teaching, and participate in audits and service improvement.

The post holder will provide timely assessment and treatment, and help manage onward care pathways, with a focus on patient-centred care in a rural and remote NHS

Qualifications

• Essential GP role in urgent care delivery in NHS settings
• Strong communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with teaching and audits and improvement activity

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care across Urgent Treatment Centres in Cumbria
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
• Participate in teaching, training of junior doctors and medical students, and audits
• Contribute to annual service improvements and clinical governance
