Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Waiter to deliver refined, attentive service to members and guests. You’ll work closely with floor and kitchen teams to ensure an exceptional dining experience that reflects the Club’s standards of professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, making recommendations, and settling bills, with a focus on personalised service and seamless team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and remain calm while solving problems under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, introduce menus, and engage upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, accommodating allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
• Provide menu recommendations, including wine pairings.
• Maintain a pristine environment, set and reset tables, and keep areas clean.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations to create memorable experiences.
• Process payments via card, Soho House app, or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism when serving VIPs.
