Job summary

Soho House is recruiting a Waiter to deliver refined, attentive service to our members and guests. You will greet guests, take orders, suggest pairings, and ensure a seamless dining experience in line with the Club's standards.

Working closely with floor and kitchen teams, you will uphold discretion and excellence while maintaining a pristine service environment; the role includes flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays with weekly pay and generous perks.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, introduce menus, and ensure immediate engagement upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, accommodating any allergies or dietary needs.
• Deliver a seamless service by coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely and correct order delivery.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including food and drink pairings.
• Maintain exceptional table service—top up water, wine, and beverages proactively throughout the member’s stay.
• Ensure a pristine environment, including setting up and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness at all times.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations with flexibility to create memorable, personalized experiences.
• Support seamless payment through card, the Soho House App, or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially when serving VIPs and PWKs.
• Contribute to team success, attending briefings, tastings, and assisting colleagues where needed.
