Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking multiple UPS Commissioning Engineers to support the UK South region. The role focuses on commissioning large UPS systems, site acceptance testing, and configuring remote monitoring while maintaining safety and reliability across hyperscale data centre environments.

Ideally based in the south of the UK, you will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality technical service and adherence to Eaton’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with three-phase electrical installation or maintenance.
• Knowledge of Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP.
• Experience programming PLC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Commission large UPS systems and develop commissioning scripts.
• Perform site acceptance testing at customer sites.
• Set up and configure remote monitoring software.
• Communicate technically with key stakeholders.
• Apply anti-static and ECN repair procedures.
