Job summary

Eaton is seeking UPS Commissioning Engineers to support its UK Electrical division, focusing on large UPS systems and hyperscale data center environments. You will commission, test and configure systems on customer sites, working with remote monitoring tools and safety standards.

The role requires three-phase electrical expertise and knowledge of UPS technology, with travel to customer sites in the South of the UK.

Qualifications

• Requires three-phase electrical installation/maintenance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of UPS systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP is beneficial.
• Experience programming PLC-based power/ generator/SCADA controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning large UPS systems at customer sites.
• Create commissioning scripts and perform site acceptance testing.
• Set up remote monitoring software and liaise with stakeholders.
• Understand online and line-interactive UPS configurations and power quality measurement.
