Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking UPS Commissioning Engineers to support the UK South region. You will commission large UPS systems, perform on-site testing, and configure remote monitoring while upholding Eaton’s safety standards.

Candidates should have an HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and three-phase electrical knowledge, with familiarity in Modbus/SNMP/OPC and PLC control programming. A dynamic environment with global opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with large UPS systems and site commissioning.
• Ability to read schematics and handle on-site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of large UPS systems.
• Understanding and creating commissioning scripts.
• Carry out site acceptance testing on customer sites.
• Set up and configure remote monitoring software.
• Communicate with stakeholders on a technical level.
• Apply anti-static policies and ECN processes to repairs.
