Are you an aspiring Science Teacher looking for a long-term Unqualified Teacher of Science position?

Do you want a secure role in one school, rather than day-to-day supply?

Are you excited by the prospect of salaried teacher training and a permanent contract after one year?

A successful Secondary School in Barking & Dagenham is seeking an Unqualified Teacher of Science to join the department on a long-term, temp-to-perm basis, starting ASAP. You will take on your own classes, plan and deliver lessons, and support pupils to achieve strong outcomes in Science.

Following a successful academic year, you will have the opportunity to progress onto a salaried teacher training programme within the school, moving onto a permanent contract with a salary up to £30,000.

  • Teaching across KS3–KS4 (subject specialism in Biology / Chemistry / Physics welcomed)
  • Located in Barking & Dagenham

  • Daily rate: £130-£135 per day (paid via Umbrella company)
  • Progression to salaried teacher training after one year
  • Permanent salary up to £30,000 once on salaried route
