Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd. invites you to join our 2027 Undergraduate Placement Year as a Production Engineer at the Clay Cross site.

This one-year, full-time placement offers hands-on experience in digitalisation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement projects within a busy manufacturing environment. You will work with a tight-knit team, lead improvement initiatives, support product launches, and balance office tasks with practical hands-on shop-floor activity, developing

• Improving the digitalisation of the Clay Cross Manufacturing plant.
• Assist in I4.0 projects in different processes around the manufacturing site.
• Participating in and leading Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Supporting the launch of new products into the plant and changes to existing products.
• Ensuring that we meet internal and external legislation for the manufacturing process.
• Upkeep and creation of SOPs.
• A good balance of office work and being hands on in a shop floor environment.
• Problem solving on live issues on manufacturing lines to keep production going.

You will be joining a tight knit team of young engineering’s that have a culture of support, communication and trust. There is a strong sense of team work and collaboration with a determination to drive improvements and projects. There has also been a high number of returning interns after there studies have been completed.

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Working Hours:39 hours per week - standard working pattern of 07:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak and 07:00 - 12:00 Friday
