Job summary

Bosch Group in Worcester invites undergraduates for a 12-month Quality Data Intern placement in the Product Quality Department. You will monitor the UK product range, analyze data to improve customer experience, and contribute to new product developments. Handover with the previous intern ensures smooth onboarding.

You will work on SQL data handling, build Power BI dashboards, and support internal stakeholders with analyses while learning Bosch systems.

Join us for your placement year in summer 2027! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

The Product Quality Department is part of the Quality team at Worcester. The main responsibility is in monitoring our complete product range in the UK market place and develop an understanding what can be done to further improve our products and customer experience. In addition this information will be used for new product developments.

During your 12 month Internship, you will be working on a range of Quality Data driven topics, to support the business in achieving and reporting on the departmental KPI's.

To commence the role you will have an initial handover period or introduction phase with the departing intern / department engineers, to become familiar with the current project and operational status.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities will include work in the following areas:

• Field Data handling; (Maintaining a SQL database and existing processes, developing workflows to automate business processes)
• Data visualization: Using tools like Power BI to create and further develop dashboards
• Supporting different parts of the business with data analysis requests.
• Documentation of workflows and how they operate.

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Our ideal candidate must:

• Be an undergraduate student (studying Information Technology, combined Business Studies degree or Engineering) with a desire to complete a 12-month work placement as part of degree studies.
• Have good time management, organizational and planning skills with the ability to priorities workload.
• Can adapt quickly to changing working environments and is ready to embrace new ways of working through digitalization.
• Be capable to work well in a team as well as independently, using own initiative.
• Communicate confidently with people at all levels, both written and verbal (including on the telephone) and with associates at international locations.
• Be IT literate and confident in using MS Office packages as well as learning Company systems’

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Excel experience and first-hand experience with workflow tools (e.g., KNIME).
• Experience with Power Bi and SQL language.

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
