Job summary

Worcester Bosch is offering a placement year for summer 2027 in its Contact Centre, a large, collaborative team focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience across multiple channels. The internship provides insights into scheduling, MI reporting, real-time analytics, and day-to-day operations, with opportunities to work on cross-functional projects and personal initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Experience a variety of areas within the Contact Centre, from scheduling resources and analysing MI reports to using real-time analytics and supporting day-to-day operations.
• Build practical experience, develop analytical and planning skills, and gain a better understanding of how a busy Contact Centre operates.
• Get involved with intern, social and eco committees, and dedicated opportunities to work on your own projects and ideas.

Job Description

Our Contact Centre is a large, collaborative team focused on providing a fantastic customer experience from the very first interaction. Customers contact us through a variety of channels throughout the year, and because our demand can be highly seasonal, we continually adapt how we use our resources to meet their needs.

There are also lots of opportunities throughout the year to get involved, develop new skills, and work with colleagues across the business. These include volunteer days, open days, training sessions, and cross-functional projects.

• This role gives you the opportunity to experience a variety of areas within the Contact Centre, from scheduling resources and analysing MI reports to using real-time analytics and supporting day-to-day operations.

• Has strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be organised and proactive, with the ability to manage different priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Is comfortable managing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Has an interest in data analysis, workforce planning and operational decision‑making.

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak.
