Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding and logistics business with multiple locations across the South of England. This is a proactive sales role focused on prospecting, new business development, and turning opportunities into long-term clients.

You will generate new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and sell international freight forwarding services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' proven B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrable success in cold calling and new business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused.
• Freight forwarding, logistics, transport, or supply chain sales experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Generate and win new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
• Conduct sales presentations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional revenue growth.
• Achieve and exceed monthly revenue and profit targets.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Arrange a minimum of 12 new business appointments per week.
