ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking an Air and Sea Freight Business Development Manager to drive new freight forwarding business and growth. You will build a robust pipeline, identify opportunities across Air/Sea Freight, and maintain relationships with clients to ensure service excellence.

The role emphasizes negotiation, client development, and close collaboration with operations to deliver outstanding freight solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Freight Forwarding sales/business development.
• Proven track record of generating and closing new business.
• Strong knowledge of Air and Sea and/or Road Freight.
• Established industry contacts and customer relationships.
• Self-motivated, commercially focused and confident in developing new accounts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and win new freight forwarding business.
• Build and manage your own pipeline of prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities across Air and Sea Freight.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to account development.
