Confidential is seeking an Inside Sales Executive to drive growth in our freight forwarding division. Based in Chelmsford, you will manage outbound prospecting and inbound quotation requests, offering tailored ocean, air and road freight solutions.

You will build a robust sales pipeline, convert quotations to orders and nurture long-term customer relationships while collaborating with carriers and agents to secure competitive pricing and maximise profitability.

Formación

• UK freight forwarding or logistics sales experience.
• Proficient in Ocean, Air and Road freight.
• Experience preparing freight quotations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• CRM and MS Office proficient.

Responsabilidades

• Generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns and prospecting.
• Respond promptly to inbound quotation requests.
• Prepare and follow up quotations for Ocean, Air and Road Freight.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using the CRM system.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Liaise with carriers and overseas agents to secure pricing.
• Negotiate rates and maximise quote conversion.
• Achieve sales and gross profit targets.
• Keep CRM records and sales activity up to date.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities.
