Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics, transportation, or distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of road freight and multimodal transportation.
• Knowledge of import/export processes, customs requirements, and international shipping regulations.
• Familiarity with trade compliance principles and Incoterms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Strong analytical mindset with solid numerical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transport operations and optimise the storage, shipping, and delivery of goods across UK facilities.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, warehouse managers, production, and project managers to improve cost, schedule and on-time delivery performance.
• Ensure SOPs for all transport suppliers and maintain daily track-and-trace of shipments.
