Job summary

Agile in the United Kingdom is expanding its Sales team and seeks an experienced Account Director to drive growth across the UK Public Sector. You will sell Agile's Data, Cloud, Analytics and AI consultancy services, winning new clients and expanding strategic accounts across central government, local authorities and the wider public sector.

You will navigate public procurement, manage complex deals, and translate data challenges into measurable outcomes for public services.

Qualifications

• Proven record selling data, cloud, analytics or AI consultancy to the UK Public Sector.
• Experience with public bodies such as central government, local government, NHS or arm's-length bodies.
• Strong track record of winning new public sector business and growing strategic accounts.
• Practical knowledge of public procurement, framework agreements, bids and tenders.
• Understanding of Data Strategy, Governance, Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics and AI services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute public sector territory and account plans to hit targets.
• Build and progress a pipeline across central government, local authorities and public bodies.
• Win new clients and grow existing accounts through proactive prospecting.
• Build partnerships with senior decision-makers across Data, Digital, Tech, Commercial and Procurement.
• Lead complex sales cycles from discovery to contract award and handover.
• Navigate UK procurement processes and tenders, coordinating with bid teams.
• Shape credible, outcomes-led data/AI proposals with consultants and delivery teams.
• Generate co-sell opportunities with technology and alliance partners.
• Represent Agile in the UK public sector, with travel as needed (up to 50%).
