Job summary

Northern Trust Asset Management is seeking a Pooled Product Manager based in London to develop and manage UK and EU pooled fund ranges across their lifecycle. The role collaborates with investment, distribution, legal, risk, compliance, operations, and finance to deliver well-governed, commercially viable products that meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in investment management or asset servicing; product management or lifecycle management of UK pooled funds is a plus.
• Experience in UK pooled funds lifecycle management and fund launches, change events and governance.
• Strong analytical, commercial and project management skills with ability to translate priorities into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including governance papers and client materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, plus familiarity with governance and investment management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle management across the pooled fund range, including launches, change events, closures, and ongoing product enhancement.
• Maintain funds’ structures, operating features, and supporting documentation to stay accurate and compliant.
• Own budget and expense oversight for the pooled product range and contribute to commercial decisions.
• Provide strategic product support on tax, class issuance, structural changes, and platform development.
• Coordinate regulatory filings and reporting for UCITS, PRIIPs, SFDR, SDR, MiFID and other obligations.
• Coordinate production of Fund Financial Statements and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support investment oversight and governance with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain fund content for websites and external disclosures.
• Prepare and contribute to board reporting and governance materials.
