Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments in London is seeking an experienced European Product Manager to lead the design, development and launch of new products for the European market within the fund range.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver strong customer outcomes and commercial success, guiding product lifecycle from pre-launch through post-launch and reporting to senior management and fund boards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and launching investment products (UCITS/AIFs) for European markets.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and roadmaps.
• Experience presenting to senior committees and boards.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of regulatory considerations and Consumer Duty.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leading or supporting the research, design, development and launch of new products for the European market.
• Ensuring product design meets needs of defined target markets and segments.
• Conduct and source competitor research to inform product development.
• Prepare and present product ideas and business cases to senior management, committees and boards.
• Seek seed investments for new product launches.
• Lead launch project groups; manage stakeholders and expectations.
• Provide updates to the Product Implementation Working Group.
• Maintain product specs, run books, issues logs and minutes.
• Conduct post-launch reviews and communicate findings to Product committees.
• Stay informed on market and regulatory developments relevant to product development.
• Support other Product Team activities and enhancements; promote the team internally and externally.
