Job summary

Mason Blake Limited is seeking a Product Associate to join our London-based team. You will help ensure funds are governed properly, product information is accurate, and regulatory and client-facing requirements are met throughout each product's lifecycle.

You'll interact with Investment, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance and Distribution, as well as external fund administrators, and will support fund reporting, disclosures, and ongoing product governance across launches and changes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in asset management, investment funds, financial services or a related operational or regulatory function.
• Undergraduate degree with strong academic achievement.
• Interest in investment products, fund structures, product governance and the regulatory environment within asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the review of annual and interim fund financial reports with internal teams and external administrators to publish timely.
• Check regulatory disclosures and investor documentation, including PRIIPs KIDs, UCITS KIID materials, EMT and EPT data.
• Support preparation, review and validation of fund-related regulatory submissions and disclosures.
• Monitor accuracy of fund information across external data providers and channels; arrange corrections as needed.
• Maintain oversight of key product information reflecting latest approved fund terms, features and disclosures.
• Assist in applying the firm’s product governance framework to keep funds structured, governed and aligned with investor markets.
• Contribute to periodic product assessments including performance, costs, risks, distribution and outcomes.
• Support assessment, implementation and monitoring of new product proposals and fund launches.
• Support calculation and monitoring of fund charges and ongoing costs; understand fee structures.

Our client, a global asset management firm is looking a Product Associate to join the London based team. Working as part of the Product function, the role will help ensure that funds are appropriately governed, product information remains accurate and regulatory and client-facing requirements are met throughout each product's lifecycle. The role offers broad exposure to fund structures, product governance and development, with regular interaction across Investment, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance and Distribution, as well as external fund administrators and other service providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate the review of annual and interim fund financial reports, working with relevant internal teams and external administrators to facilitate accurate and timely publication.
• Check regulatory disclosures and investor documentation, including PRIIPs KIDs, UCITS KIID materials, EMT and EPT data, ensuring information is consistent and appropriate approvals have been obtained
• Support the preparation, review and validation of fund-related regulatory submissions and investor disclosures
• Monitor the accuracy and consistency of fund information distributed through external data providers, platforms and other third‑party channels, investigating discrepancies and arranging corrections where necessary
• Maintain oversight of key product information, ensuring that published materials reflect the latest approved fund terms, features and disclosures
• Assist in the ongoing application of the firm’s product governance framework, helping ensure that funds remain appropriately structured, governed and aligned with their intended investor markets
• Contribute to periodic product assessments, including reviews of fund performance, costs, risks, distribution, investor outcomes and continued suitability
• Support the assessment, implementation and ongoing monitoring of new product proposals, fund launches and changes to existing products
• Support the calculation, review and monitoring of fund charges and ongoing costs, developing an understanding of fee structures, expense allocation and the impact of charges on investors.

Candidate Profile:
